Description Sample: No. 55. December 26th, 1828. To John Phipps, Town Treasurer, of his successor, pay to Harvey Meayberry, Nineteen Dollars 15 cents it being for abatements in his rate bill for Roland Holden. [This appears to be an early "check."]
